The 16th annual Banff Mountain Art & Craft Sale welcomes over 20 new and exciting artists this year! Just in time for Christmas, you can find original, handcrafted, and wonderfully unique items to remind you of your time in the mountains.

Lucie Bause - Artist

Inspired by her adventures in the Rocky Mountains as well as in Latin America, Lucie explores the natural environment in her artwork. Her paintings, cards and prints are intuitive and thoughtful, sharing essence of place and spirit of landscape, and inspiring a connection with nature.

Beth Coulas Silks

Colourful,bright and whimsical silk paintings by Alberta artist Beth Coulas. Beth's work also appears on cards and magnets

Burnt Glass Studio

Attractive handmade jewellery locally made in Calgary from Moretti glass beads, gemstones, leather and sterling silver.

Camelot Haven Alpaca Ranch

A small family alpaca ranch located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Alpaca products for sale include; Alpaca Fleece, Alpaca Yarn, Hand-Woven Blankets, Felt/Felted Slippers & Duvets.

Catching the Wind Studio

Artist Cheryl Dryden is best known for her handmade notecards, tags and gift bags made from pressed leaves, flowers and natural fibres. She often incorporates handmade paper, beads, buttons and ribbon into her work.

Sally Dobbin Pottery

From Calgary, Alberta, Sally Dobbin creates beautifully fired terra-cotta pottery embellished with layers of colourful, painterly slips and glazes. jsdobbin@telus.net

JAM Designs Inc

Columbia valley artist Jami Scheffer creates popular beaded jewellery and accessories. Her reasonably priced jewellery ($15-60) is all hand made and original in design.

Kakuya Textiles & Arts

Tamaki Okabe and Kimiyo Judek are local fibre artists who create wonderfully tactile scarves, hand bags, wall hangings and items for home décor. All their functional artwork is hand woven, naturally dyed and from original designs.

La Frangia

Cast, one of a kind sterling silver jewellery pieces inspired by organic and natural forms.

Sheri Landells - Artist

Original paintings in pastel, acrylic and watercolour on unique surfaces such as stone, driftwood, wooden boxes and dream catchers. All of Sheri’s work has native or wildlife themes. She also makes art cards and sells matted prints of her work.

Prairie Sage Soapworks

Local decoupage artist Janet Klock lives in Golden, BC and makes bright, cheerful and colourful mosaics, mirrors and piggy banks. Her work reflects the mountain lifestyle with themes of wilderness, railways, skiing, living in the elements and nostalgic subjects.

Marzena Pustelnik Ceramics

Marzena is a ceramics artist working in Canmore, Alberta and is also an artist in residence at The Banff Centre. Her beautiful, organic – shaped vessels are completely functional as floral, dinner and cookware.

Rainbow Crow Studio

Alberta Artist Knicki Markolf hand carves interesting, organic forms into sculptures, stone necklaces. She also paints panels with carved stone.

Shumba Arts

Shumba Ash creates jewellery and sculptures with different materials ranging from wire, stone, metal and wood: focusing on recycling as much as possible; as a means to express his imagination.

Silly Goat Studio

Original paintings, prints and art cards by local Banff artist Lynne Huras inspired by the work of Emily Carr. Her work has appeared on cd covers, in children's books and numerous musical events.

Soft Wired

Curious and fun, all of these necklaces made by Courtney Scott tell different stories. Made with semi-precious stones, silver, copper and found objects.
