Rainer Mirau: Trotternish

“The view over the highlands of Trotternish is a perfect spot for landscape photography. In the hope of a magic sunrise I got up early, but the weather was windy and it even rained most of the time. I was lucky enough to find a few dry moments to take a couple of images. With the help of an umbrella I blocked the wind from the camera on the tripod.”

Rainer Mirau is an Austrian landscape photographer who travels to the most beautiful destinations all over Europe. Spending time regularly in natural surroundings is not just recreation and inspiration for him, but is a necessity in order to lead a balanced life. His images are featured in magazines and calendars.
